Fire & Window Lock Compliance made simple
At Winfire, we take care of everything that keeps your building safe and compliant — from fire protection systems to window lock certification.

Our licensed team handles majority of the fire safety measures listed on your Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS), including extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants, emergency lighting, exit signage, and fire doors.
We handle all testing frequencies throughout the year — monthly, six-monthly, and annual checks in line with AS1851 — to make sure your systems stay operational and compliant all year round.
While window lock compliance isn’t part of the AFSS, we offer it alongside our fire services for client convenience — one team, one report, one less headache.
Our Core Services

Fire Extinguishers & Hose Reels
Monthly, six-monthly, and annual inspections, pressure testing, and tagging to AS1851:2012 requirements.

Emergency Lighting & Exit Signage
Monthly and six-monthly duration testing of exit and emergency lighting under AS2293.2, ensuring visibility during power failure.
Passive Fire Measures
Inspection of fire-rated penetrations, fire stopping, and compartmentation to maintain fire separation integrity.
Fire Engineering Reports & Alternative Solutions
Review and coordination of fire engineering reports and performance-based designs to ensure ongoing compliance with building regulations and AFSS obligations.
Window Lock Compliance (Non-AFSS Service)
Separate from fire safety measures, we also provide window lock compliance inspections in line with the NSW Strata Schemes Management Regulation 2016. We check and certify that safety devices are installed correctly and restrict window openings to 12.5cm or less, helping strata schemes meet their obligations efficiently. By offering this service alongside our fire compliance testing, clients can cover multiple requirements in a single visit — saving time, money, and admin.
